About the Campaign | This donation helps fund the publishing of Corey Taylor's first book, while he's still in prison. Corey's dream is to see the Holy Spirit use him powerfully to minister the gospel to his fellow inmates at Salinas Valley State Prison. We believe that arming him with a powerful book he can give to his inmate friends while still in prison will have a lasting and powerful impact on the lives of many.

 

Corey's & Our Story | At the age of 11, Corey was introduced to heavy drugs by his parents and thereafter went on to live a life of addiction, theft and crime. He spent most of his time in and out of juvenile detentions, jails, and now prison where he has been since 2018. Now 30 years old, Corey met the Lord Jesus in prison and has radically traded his ways for the Lord's.

After 5 years at Salinas Valley State Prison, Corey is drug-free, though surrounded by drugs and addicts, and he has started a letter writing ministry as well as a prison-yard preaching & prayer ministry. David & Delfina met Corey thanks to one of his anonymous gospel letters arriving at our mailbox.

 

We started writing Corey in 2023 and began visiting him every three months. We've been friends with him for over 1 year and bear witness to the fact that Corey is a transformed, born again believer on fire for the Lord. We are his friends and supporters leading the charge to publish his first book and inviting you into this fun adventure so he can share his message with inmates while he's still incarcerated at Salinas Valley State Prison.

 

About Corey's Book | Coming into 2024, Corey felt compelled to write an exhortation to his fellow inmates about why the fall of man was necessary to prove God's unfailing love to us. His hope is to inspire and transform the hearts of those around him who question God because of the circumstances they've faced.

• Author development

• Editing & proofreading

• Formatting & book design 

• Publishing & printing

• Distributing 100 free books to inmates at Salinas State Valley Prison

• An advance of monies paid to Corey
