Our Story
Cultivating Humanity got its start in Los Angeles, CA in 2018 under the name Keep It Sacred Sister. At the time, the main mission of the organization was to support survivors of sexual abuse by providing rape kit panties to women in hospitals. Keep It Sacred Sister was partnered with the YWCA (Young Women's Christian Organization) in Compton and Long Beach providing panties to women there.

Post-pandemic, a few years after operating in Southern California serving survivors, the organization relocated to Redding, CA where its mission and purpose shifted to meet new needs under the new name Cultivating Humanity.

Now our dedicated team directs its efforts toward a wider array of causes functioning as a fiscal sponsor to incredible projects which are all aimed at cultivating beauty, strength, dignity and hope for families and the community at large.
